P.S. 251Q, as a Borough Choice Lottery School, does not register students over the counter, but must accept students by placement from the Family Welcome Center. P.S. 251Q is only open to District 29 residents.
The general enrollment period for lottery schools in the NYCDOE is usually in March-April for the next school year. (Note: Consult the Family Welcome Center regarding enrollment notifications and policy.)
